ASTONISHING footage has emerged of what appears to be a drone-like object flying past SpaceX moments before it dramatically exploded.

Now conspiracy theorists are claiming the space rocket was “attacked”.

The “reusable” rocket was destroyed after suffering a catastrophic explosion on launch at Cape Canaveral in Florida, US on Thursday.

The huge blast, which caused no injuries, ripped through the rocket during a pre-launch check – sending plumes of thick black smoke into the air.

Billionaire SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said the cause of the explosion, which was caught on camera, is still unknown.

Skeptics have cast doubt on the theory, pointing out that the flying object was simply a bird or a bug.

But truth seekers hit back, suggesting that the object was travelling too fast – and therefore must be a machine.

The video triggered a flurry of speculation on social media, where many have been left puzzled by the object.

Commenting on the YouTube video, Scott Keller wrote: “One person said it was a bug. Someone else a bird.

“Hard to accept those two as explanations. Too fast and not close to the camera.”

Rantin Wraithy wrote: “That’s a big f****** bird. And round too. I didn’t think ostriches could fly.”

The explosion happened shortly after 9am as Musk’s Spacex firm were readying for launch at the Kennedy Space Centre.

Facebook’s $200million “revolutionary” Amos-6 satellite was destroyed in the blast – leading CEO Mark Zuckerburg to express his “deep disappointment”.

The satellite would have opened up free internet to more than 14 countries in Africa.

SpaceX managed to land a rocket on a ship in the Atlantic Ocean in May.

The costly blunder dealt a major blow to SpaceX, which are playing catch up to launch other satellites after an accident last year.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the firm said: “SpaceX can confirm that in preparation for today's static fire, there was an anomaly on the pad resulting in the loss of the vehicle and its payload.

“Per standard procedure, the pad was clear and there were no injuries.”

SpaceX managed to land a rocket on a ship in the Atlantic Ocean in May.

A Pennsylvania witness at Monroeville reported watching and photographing an orange orb-like object that hovered and moved at 500 feet, according to testimony in Case 78094 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness and a co-worker were sitting outside on a porch smoking cigarettes at 8:56 p.m. on July 31, 2016, when the incident occurred.

“Humming through the air changing colors,” the witness stated.“Stopped fast in mid-air, and went right after a couple of seconds, and then shot west, stopped, and then shot off the rest of the way.”

“They saw a light to the southeast and watched it move from the southeast to the south and stop and hover for 20 seconds or so,” Colosimo stated in his report.“It moved toward the two men and stopped when it was ‘five houses’ away. A vertical height of 500 feet. It moved away back toward the southeast at a high rate of speed. Orange Orb in shape. The object had one flashing/blinking light. It blinked every 10 seconds or so. As the object zoomed away, it made a humming noise. The object seemed to be the size of a ‘house.’Witness felt as if the object was able to know that he and his co-worker saw it. Witness felt as if the object approached he and his co-worker because he and his co-worker called it in by talking about it.”

Saucer stories: Quiet, fast – UFOs, miracle flyers in sky

Even though there are indications in our books of history, theology, archaeology, geology and folklore that our world has been visited for thousands of years by UFOs, it’s the modern UFO phenomenon that started in the 1940s and has continued till today that holds our attention.

UFOs are generally described by eyewitnesses as round in shape, metallic, with a flat bottom and doomed top. In some cases Cigar and Triangle shaped UFOs have also been seen. They are generally small, 10-foot to 40-foot in diameter, have no wings, tails or visible external engines. They are known to silently maneuver over an area, sometimes at a very low altitude, sometimes they stay still over an area then suddenly take off at extraordinary speed. They are very silent, leave no exhaust but often there is a glow around the object. They have the ability to appear and disappear suddenly both in the visual and electromagnetic spectrum. On some occasions huge spacecrafts have also been observed.

One of the biggest UFOs ever seen appeared over the skies of Chile in 1978. What gives credibility and authenticity to this sighting was highly trained Air Force pilots were involved in this encounter. On December 16, 1978 two Chilean Air Force Fighter jets on a training mission encountered a gigantic UFO. When the UFO appeared on the radar of one of the Chilean Air Force jet its size was estimated to be that of 10 or more Aircraft Carriers which is 3400 metres or 3.4 km. The pilot thinking it must be some radar malfunction asked the pilot of the other jet, who also concurred. When they consulted the ground radar of the nearby airport, they also confirmed the huge size. As the pilots neared the UFO it suddenly took off in great speed and vanished from their sights as well as the radar screens. The Chilean Air Force has acknowledged this UFO encounter.

How did the name flying saucer originate?
On June 24th, 1947 Kenneth Arnold a qualified pilot and deputy federal marshal was looking for a marine transport plane that had crashed somewhere in the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. Around 2pm on that fateful day Arnold saw a formation of very bright objects coming from the vicinity of Mount Baker. Arnold calculated their speed to be around 1700 miles per hour. No aircraft in that period had the capacity to reach that speed. Later when discussing the event with a reporter of an Oregon newspaper, Arnold said they didn’t fly like any aircraft that he had seen before instead they flew like a saucer would if you skipped it across the water. He was only describing the flight pattern of the objects, not the objects themselves, but the press started calling them flying saucers which became famous. Later the term UFO was adopted to describe them.

According to an UN statistic since the 1940s, 150 million people in over 133 countries have reported seeing an UFO. This includes Air Force Generals, Astronauts, Prime Minister of a country (Granada), former American Presidents (Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan) Government Officials, Scientists, Military Officers, civilian and military pilots and radar operators, Police officers and Journalist.

Debate is swirling over a mysterious light that hovered in the night sky over the St. Louis arch earlier this week. This is the video shot by Chase Rhoads early Tuesday morning. You can see the light hovering over the arch.

Rhoads was doing work at the casino queen when he shot it. And this is video of the light also above the arch shot from a security camera at martin memorial park not far from the casino.

Joe Palermo, Mufon Chief Investigator said, “My gut reaction right now is that it is something unusual.”

Joe Palermo has spent years looking into UFO. Sightings, most of them he says can be explained as a star, or an aircraft or something man made. The light over the arch has caught his attention.

Joe Palermo: “Pretty exciting because the best thing about it is we have two different sources of the same object on the same date at the same time.”

Some folks say there’s nothing mysterious about it at all.

Debbi Sanfilippo, thinks it’s a drone said, “Yeah, I’m pretty confident it’s a drone.”

Debbi sanfilippo and her boyfriend have a friend who owns a drone with lights that he flies at night. They say it looks just like the object above the arch.

Debbi Sanfilippo: “It looks just like the drone I’ve seen my friend uses up in the air.”

Joe Palermo: “It’s too big to be a drone and the flashing light of it is not typical of drones.”

Investigators are probing whether climbers inadvertently took pictures of an alien space craft at the summit of a mountain.A witness has sent the images to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for investigation.

In a report to US-based MUFON, the world's biggest organization dedicated to the investigation of alien and UFO sightings,

The Witness said: 

"I noticed the object in the background of two photos that were taken of me and my daughter and her friend on the top of Mount Washington when I zoomed in on them."Both photos were taken by another person at the summit. Both photos were taken no more than five seconds apart."

Some climbers at the Mount Washington summit decided to takes some photos of their victorious moment and accidentally caught a UFO watching them in the distance.

Bright, long streaks of light soared across the sky from Utah to California, stunning residents who got an unexpected show Wednesday night.

He shot a video that showed what looked to be two bright, burning streaks flying across the horizon.

Lake Champlain boater describes UFO emitting objects to ground level. A Vermont witness at Lake Champlain reported watching a cigar-shaped UFO that appeared to drop “three or four unknown orbs” that fell to the ground level, according to testimony in Case 77749 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was on his boat in Lake Champlain in the middle of Shelburne Bay at 4 p.m. on July 10, 2016, when the incident occurred.

“I looked up and saw the unknown object slowly flying across the sky,” the witness stated.“I called the attention of my sister and father who joined me in observing the object.”

As the group watched, the object emitted several smaller objects.

“I observed it drop about three or four unknown orbs which fell to the ground out of sight from where we were.”

The hovering object then remained in place for a short time.

“The object then hovered in the same spot for about 20 minutes before it disappeared. I recall the object being white and the orbs it dropped also being white. However, my sister recalls the object and the orbs being black. My father thought it was a blimp and was quick to brush off the thought of a UFO. We saw the unknown craft again hovering over a spot closer to us when we traveled north into Burlington Bay. The craft quickly vanished again after that.”

Lake Champlain is a natural freshwater lake in North America, located mainly within the borders of the United States in the states of Vermont and New York.

Concord, NH – The skies above New Hampshire’s capital city continue to dazzle with amazing – and interesting – unexplained phenomenon, and last night was no exception.

Pedro Pimentel, a local filmmaker, who works at the Red Blazer Restaurant on Manchester Street, was outside in the parking lot at around 11 p.m. on July 16, 2016, and recorded three "unidentified flying objects," in this case, pulsing orbs, in the night sky above the restaurant.

Pimentel posted the raw video on his Facebook site.

Jamie Cooper, 33, claims that the unidentified object was spotted by his 13-year-old son James hanging over Ayr Harbour for around 15 minutes at 5.30pm on Sunday.

In the shaky 28-second clip a black entity, which resembles a chinook helicopter, is clearly seen hovering in the distance.

The dad-of-one, from Ayr, Scotland, said teen James sent him the footage after visiting the grocery store and was concerned by what it could be.

Jamie said: “James was walking home when he took the footage on Sunday, and sent it to me through Whatsapp.

A video shot by confused motorists who spotted a massive UFO has been shared online.
The clip, captured on Sunday, shows a large black object hovering above the New York City skyline. It was visible to drivers making the Outerbridge Crossing to New Jersey.

The footage was shared by “UFO investigators” Secure Team 10, who claim “to bring exposure to the alien phenomenon.” They said multiple eyewitnesses submitted clips and reported feeling strange “vibrations,” as well as hearing “unnatural” sounds in the area.

Secure Team’s Tyler Glockner claimed that this most recent sighting was just the latest of many, which some believe may indicate that “we are on the precipice of a visitation.”

The video has been viewed on YouTube more than 200,000 times since its upload on Saturday and has prompted the usual debate.





Some commenters questioned how a massive UFO could go undetected by the residents directly beneath it, or at least closer to the object.

“Isn’t it strange that EVERY single UFO video is of a UFO far away? rarely a video off someone who is underneath it or very close?,” wrote one commenter.

“Interesting video Tyler but one or two persons couldn’t have been the only ones who snapped this thing on video especially over a big city like New Jersey but still very strange indeed!” wrote Mike Carr.

• Conspiracy theorists have accused NASA of cutting its live feed from the International Space Station whenever a 'UFO' appears.

On two separate occasions this month, alien hunters claim to have spotted mysterious objects appearing on their screens before it goes blank.

UFO watcher Toby Lundh recently spotted a UFO outside the space station, moments before the stream was interrupted for 10 to 15 seconds.

Mr Lundh told Disclose.TV that there are 'always some UFOs showing up,' and 'NASA always cuts the feed when a UFO gets close to the station.'

The alien hunter claims to have captured a still photo of the unidentified object from the feed - and it looks remarkably like the Starfleet insignia in Star Trek.

He also says that NASA has removed the recording from its archives as part of efforts to conceal alleged communication between astronauts and UFOs

In a separate incident last week, a grey object was seen coming up over the horizon and then disappearing moments before NASA switched to a different camera.

One possible is that it was a bit of debris that hit the lens, or even the moon.

But 'Streetcap1', the YouTuber who posted the video isn't convinced. 'Please bear in mind that the moon appears white when it shows,' he writes.

Meanwhile on October 7, UFO watchers said they witnessed a strange object near the station during a spacewalk by astronauts Reid Wiserman and Alexander Gerst.

The object was later identified as being either a speck of dust or a lens flare from the sun.

That didn't stopped some conspiracy theories arising though, with ufologists somewhat speculatively claiming it was proof that we are not alone in the universe.

Professor Andrew Balogh from the Imperial College London Department of Physics says: 'Generally speaking UFO sightings are either explained by some artifact effect - even some space junk - or left unexplained as there is not enough evidence.
'It's difficult to judge from the video in this instance, because of its poor quality. If Nasa has access to high quality images, they may investigate further.'

NASA is yet to comment the incidents.

The space agency's ISS live stream and rover photos have become a huge source of 'evidence' for conspiracy theorists.

Many scientists believe UFO sightings such as this are down to a psychological phenomenon called pareidolia.

This describes the brain's response to seeing significant objects in random places.

'The vast majority of these images are as vague and elusive as those posted by UFO witnesses on Earth, and many have a fairly mundane explanation, says 'Nigel Watson author of the UFO investigations Manual .

'The problem is that the more NASA denies such things or explains them the more people think there is a conspiracy to hide the truth that aliens are visiting our planet.'

OSHAWA - Daniel Koostachin said he had a bad feeling, like he was about to enter a haunted house when he showed up to the gates at the Oshawa Harbour on June 22 around 9:30 a.m., alone to pick up some metal rebar for a company he drives transport truck for.

“I felt very uncomfortable all of a sudden,” said the Newmarket resident. “It felt like someone was watching me.”

Mr. Koostachin said he checked his surroundings, looking left then right and that’s when he saw “the object” hovering over the waters of Lake Ontario.

He managed to snap a couple of photos with his camera before “it took off into the sky.

“After I saw it, I couldn’t sleep for two days. I had mixed feelings inside me,” he explained. “I felt dreadful.”

Mr. Koostachin described what he saw as a black object that was a disc shape.

“There were no lights, no sounds, no nothing,” he said. “That UFO was far from the harbour. It was far in distance.”

He said he has always been a believer that UFOs exist and thinks he has seen them before but this time was different.

“I’ve never been close enough to see it and get proof. I was hoping it’d take me but it didn’t that day,” he joked.

“Hopefully the Men in Black don’t show up at my door.”

It was just under a week ago when Mike Mewett first noticed patches of leaves on trees on a roughly 100m section of the property were dropping.

“It’s so strange, it’s not the tree that’s dying, it’s like there’s something been dropped on it from above,” he said.

“To me that’s the only logical explanation, unless we’ve got aliens around here.”

The NT News visited Mr Mewett’s property and witnessed the triangular shaped section of trees where parts of a tree’s branch had completely died while other leaves on the branch flourished.

Mr Mewett, an avid gardener, said he’d never encountered anything like it.

“We sometimes see a light aircraft flying in the area ... maybe it dumped some fuel,” he said.

Mr Mewett’s Humpty Doo Property is less than a kilometre from where Brisbane UFO hunter Erik Black spotted a “thing” floating above his head in 2010.

Mr Black described the UFO as “shaped like a hamburger, with black dots” and “weird-looking headlights”.

Several recent sightings of similar, round orbs hovering silently above Humpty Doo have also been reported to the NT News.

A local arborist saidthat without inspecting the damage on Mr Mewett’s property, it was hard to say what the cause was, but said it definitely didn’t sound like a virus.

“Sometimes lightning strikes can cause damage like that but if it spans 100m it wouldn’t be a lightning strike, plus we haven’t had any lightening,” he said.

“It could be a reaction to a chemical ... it certainly does sound strange.”

The rural area is also known for it’s Yowie activity, but a local Yowie expert, who asked not to be named, said there was "no way” the damage on Mr Mewett’s property could be put down to those creatures.

“It’s far more likely to be a UFO than a Yowie,” he said

A Washington witness at Port Angeles reported watching and photographing a sphere-shaped UFO that appeared to emerge from a cloud formation, hovered, and then moved back into the cloud, according to testimony in Case 76808 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness was outside on the beach with a girlfriend when the object was first seen on June 4, 2016.

“We observed a dark UFO emerge from a cloud over the harbor,” the witness stated.“We had been commenting on the oddness of the long, thin, spirally dense cloud on a clear day.”
