MUFON Announces New iPhone App, Finally an App that Could Change the World

MUFON Announces New UFO app for iPhone

Have you ever gone to bed at night thinking that your mission in life is to change the world only to wake up in the morning frantically looking for your cape before it dawns on you that it is still at the cleaners. Well all you need to do is reach for your iPhone with the new MUFON app. The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has announced a new app for the iPhone that could quite literally change the world.

Clifford Clift the International Director of MUFON tells Educating Humanity that their new App will be available by October 1, 2011. You will have the ability to both report UFO sightings and to find out about the sightings in your town, county, state or region of the country.

If that is not enough MUFON is revamping their website and hopes to have the new site up and running before the end of 2011.

The Mutual UFO Network is a non-profit UFO investigative organization established in 1969. MUFON's mission is the scientific investigation and study of UFOs for the benefit of Humanity.

MUFON is the only organization that actually investigates UFO sightings and reports their findings. If you see some unexplained lights in the sky you probably will not get their attention, they will make a report but probably not come out and investigate. If you have clear still pictures or video that is compelling evidence then you will most get them to consider an investigaton. If there is physical evidence or you actually saw a UFO land or God Forbid saw some real aliens then they will be happy to talk with you!

Tip from MUFON

How to Digitally Record/Video a UFO sighting:
Stabilize the camera on a tripod. If there is no tripod, then set it on top of a stable, flat surface. If that is not possible lean against a wall to stabilize your body and prevent the camera from filming in a shaky, unsteady manner. Provide visual reference points for comparison. This includes the horizon, treetops, lampposts, houses, and geographical landmarks (i.e., Horsetooth Reservoir, Mt. Adams, etc.) Provide this in the video whenever is appropriate and doesn’t detract from what your focus is, the UFO.
