Leslie Kean to discuss UFO encounters with George Noory August 3, 2011

Leslie Kean was a guest on George Noory’s Coast to Coast AM on Wednesday, August 3rd. The topic of discussion was  “UFO Encounters”.

Kean wrote the hardcover New York Times bestseller: UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go on the Record. Her book, released one year ago, was a result of  ten years of  in-depth research into the UFO phenomenon.

Kean’s book will be released in paperback tomorrow.
In addition to her many years of writing, Kean co-founded the Coalition for Freedom of Information (CFI) in 2002. CFI is “an independent alliance advocating for greater government openness on information about UFOs, and for responsible coverage by the media based on a rational and credible approach.” Additionally, Kean was a producer for the 2009 independent documentary I Know What I Saw.
In February 2011, she was awarded “Researcher of the Year” by the International UFO Congress.
Kean is an investigative journalist whose articles have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines around the world such as the Baltimore Sun, The Nation magazine and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Since 2000, Kean has published investigative stories related to the UFO subject. Her effort to obtain government documents about the crash of an unknown object in Kecksburg, PA in 1965 has been publicly backed by President Clinton’s former chief of staff. Kean is the plaintiff in a lawsuit against NASA, filed in December 2003, demanding the release of further documentation relating to the Kecksburg incident. This was recently settled, requiring NASA to conduct an extensive search for documents under court. supervision.
