The Missouri branch of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) continues to report a high number of UFO and orange light cases, according to a May 25, 2011, statement by Missouri MUFON Assistant State Director Margie Kay.

"This photo, obtained  today from a local witness, follows multiple sightings of orange balls of light in the greater Kansas City area in May,"Kay stated. "I have received 21 witness reports of UFO activity in Kansas City since May 7, including a sighting by five witnesses who saw 125 orange balls of light on I-435 highway at 9:30 - 10:00 p.m. The orbs shot from a tree line at 90 mph, then slowed down as they entered the clouds and disappeared."
Kay also reports on additional witnesses.

"Two witnesses report a large orange orb in Liberty, a child saw a large orange UFO in Kansas City North, and three women claim to have been abducted in separate instances involving orange lights," Kay stated. "A very large UFO was spotted in Lee's Summit, MO, early on May 21 by five witnesses. This is an extremely high number of reports and cases of high strangeness for the area."
Kay is an investigator based in Kansas City, and is investigating these cases.
"This photo (attached) was taken by cell phone camera of a KMBZ Channel 9 broadcast with meteorologist Brian Busby on May 21," Kay stated. "No mention was made by Busby regarding the strange orbs in the picture."
